Wow, I told myself I was going to come back here more often but life has been totally hectic for me that I almost forgot this exists. Plus my computer screen is still having issues. Depending on my budget, I'm gonna try and get it fixed by this year or the next. I miss being on my laptop every now and then. I can only handle phones and tablets for so long. Well anyway guys, I'm back. I've been pretty busy with work, and things have been going well. Unfortunately, I'm still a reserve flight attendant. It turns out I may get my line(an official schedule) probably come this fall or by next year. So we'll see how that goes. I've been making some big bucks now too. It's scary how these things work out in the end. I still can't believe I achieved something I've been dreaming of for years. Getting paid to travel and meeting people of all kinds, it's a whole lot of fun. I've been to places like Barbados, San Juan, Peru, Trinidad, Haiti, etc. I've been hearing rumors that our airline will be going to London. Turns out the rumors are true but it won't be til way in the future, which will be great since I'm hoping my seniority will be high enough to travel there. Anyways, I'm still at the same old crash pad I've always been. Still taking the metro here in New York. It's been hectic getting to work by train but I'm getting by.
I've never felt so happy at a job. This has been something I've worked hard for for 3 years. I've been with jetBlue officially a year now; more like a year and a half. Hard to believe a year went by quick. A lot of people have told me do you like your job? Do you regret not going back to your regular life? There are times that I do miss working domestically. I do miss my friends and family in Virginia. But I never regret for taking this job. If I let this go then I wouldn't be as happy as I am now. I always tell myself things will get better once I'm off reserve. I mean, I'm able to see friends whenever I want to on my travel benefits. You gotta love flying for free for certain airlines. International is a different story since you have to pay for that inter. tax fee. But all in all, I'm happy here. jetBlue is still an expanding airline and the routes are only going to to expand even more. I also just found out that we are the #1 customer service satisfaction airline. How cool is that!!! I won't be leaving JB any time soon. I've flown with great pilots and flight attendants. Some even love nerdy stuff like anime, cosplay, comic book stuff, etc. I'm keeping my head up high and hoping to reach more towards a brighter future for myself.
During my last journal entry, I figured I was going to be living in New York. That was a BIG FAT NOPE! With expenses in NY being too much, turns out, I'm living comfortably in Virginia Beach, VA with two amazing friends whom I've known for years:
&
We started living together close to around January or February. Everything has been so perfect. I couldn't have asked for amazing roommates. We all love to cosplay, talk about our favorite series, we even pitch in for things for the apartment. We are still in the process with getting things organized but it's slowly coming together. With work keeping us away, it's been difficult. Now I know how my parents felt after we constantly kept moving and it took forever to throw boxes away.
My goal is to buy a bed since I'm sleeping on an air mattress for the time being. So far I've found a headboard and a bed frame. All that's left is the mattress. I plan on buying a foam mattress because they're more healthier for my back. Plus sleeping on one at the crash pad, feels like I'm sleeping on clouds. So I'm really picky when it comes to picking out mattresses. Life has been good so far with the roommies. I can't wait for more roommate adventures. So far they're adjusting to my flight attendant schedule. I'm happy they're able to take me to the airport when duty calls it. The cool thing is, our apartment is about 10-15 minutes away from ORF airport. I'm also 10-15 minutes away from my parents place. We couldn't have found the most perfect place for all of us. We are the Jaeha, Jumin, and V from Mystic Messenger, the Kanzeon. Hakkai, and Gojyo from Saiyuki, or the bird, dolphin, and the dragon living together under one roof. I can't wait for more awesomeness together in the future.
Also, you may have noticed that I deleted a huge chunk of photos; I'm looking at you Kuroshitsuji album....Well that's because I decided to put really nice photos here. Since my budget has been pretty good, I'm able to book with photographers for some of my cosplays. I started booking more since last year and I've booked a whole lot more this year, starting with Otakon. I'm really excited to book with photographers whom I've never dreamed of getting a chance to work with. There are a bunch of costumes I haven't had the time to get photos of yet, especially cosplays whom I haven't worn in awhile who are in need of more photos. I will slowly be posting some more photos of my cosplays. I'm so happy that a lot of you guys haven't left me here. If anything, I've gained followers while I was away. I can't wait to share with you all so many pics I've kept on the back burner. If you've been following my page, you know what I'm talking about. Even if my computer screen is crap, I'm gonna try my very best to stay on here with you all. I have however been attending cons like last years Katsucon, AMA, Otakon, Colossalcon East(new con), AUSA, this years Katsucon, Virginia Beach Comic Con, Kigacon, and Anime Mid-Atlantic. I will be posting photos from recent events soon. Here's a list of cons I will be attending this year:

That's all for the updates guys. This doesn't seem like much of an update, but things have been pretty much the same aside from my living arrangements. Make sure you follow my other sites too. I'm still working on getting Twitter. I've been so lazy to make one. Whoops!
