Now that we FINALLY got some decent pictures back for our Saiyuki group, I can show you guys how amazing we all look. Thing is, we had another photographer who took pics of us but he didn't take a lot of good angles of all of us. Some of us didn't even receive any single shots back. This was actually the photo we were looking forward to the most but the other photographer didn't even post it. It was weird cause even he said he liked the shot. We all felt honestly betrayed even though the photographer said he really loves Saiyuki. I get the feeling he really wanted to aim for perfection but you know, not everyone can aim for perfection. Cosplay is all about fun in your own favorite character, not about making likes on your page, which I believe that photographer was aiming to get.

Luckily, my good friend Mako-sempai was around and she took quite a few lovely photos of all of us in broad broad daylight. Thanks girl for taking time out of your schedule to take a few pics of us while we were slumped without a photographer. We wanted to take pics in the grass but we were on a time crunch. We plan on taking more pics of our group at this coming year's Nekocon. We loved being together as a group so much that we decided to give ourselves a cosplay group name called "Journey to the West Cosplay." Yes, we even have a page. We're still in the process of building it but if you would be so kind to like or share our page, we'd most appreciate it.
