Otakon aka Linecon Remembrance + New Cosplays

Well, fall is on its way and I can tell just from the sounds of the wind that's hitting my windows. Hard to believe that summer just came and gone but soon everything will be turning colorful of orange, red, and brown.

Anyways, Otakon was my last summer con of the year and it went.....differently than I hoped, starting with pre-reg. It was hard cause we got there late cause of traffic and waiting for mailman to come. But we got there Thursday safe and sound with a surprise EXTREMELY LONG LINE. This line is longer than all the other years of Otakon. I know it doesn't compare to AX or AB but geez. I didn't get my badge til around 7am Friday morning thanks to standing in line til 3am. XD Buuuuut I wasn't bored considering me and my friends were playing Cards Against Humanity for 3 straight hours. Also thanks to RaiinFaiiry's awesome photographer friend, she got us breakfast while waiting. Lostdreamz82 and Ace5262 was having no better chance to getting their badges too. They had to go to the Hilton to get their badges cause Otakon's system shut down. I stayed in my cosplay partner's bedroom for a few hours til our room has been checked in. After they got their badges, my roomies were sweet enough to help with my luggage which was at RaiinFaiiry's hotel. Thanks a bunch you guys. 

Afterwards I changed into Aoba with SoraKazuma as my Clear. We walked around for a bit and then we slept for an hour or two before the DMMD shoot. There I saw XxCStrifexX and Koralene as Noiz. Yup both of them as Noiz but with different outfits. Too bad I couldn't stay long cause it was time to celebrate SoraKazuma's birthday as Gareki and her as Yogi. We had so much fun. Even Monkeygirl-16 and ZephyrDragons25 showed up too~ We ate and drank to our hearts content. 


Saturday me and SoraKazuma decided to change into Hiroki and Nowaki only because we didn't have enough time to cosplay them on Thursday. She was doctor Nowaki and I was teacher Hiroki. It was sad that not a lot people knew who we were, if they did, they would get a lollipop from Nowaki. In the end, we got some sweet pictures by SoraKazuma's friend and then changed into our next costumes. Later we changed into Magi. That had to be the highlight of the con cause we got so many good pictures either by Lostdreamz82, Druhzin, or the people of the convention. If you saw our group we had two Aladdins, Alibaba, Yunan, Judal, Scheherazade(Schnickerdoodle), and we even had a Titus and Sinbad join up with us on the third floor terrace. Sunday was a bit hard for me cause my Haru wig was bugging me so much. So I bought a new one in the dealer's room just in time for the Cosmic Crown Free T-shirt modeling event. The Free shoot was a blast but it wasn't the same when SoraKazuma, Monkeygirl-16, and ZephyrDragons25 left. I had fun regardless cause I was hanging with CrownPrincessLaya as Gou, cheerykokiri as Rin, and KakuCosplay as Nitori. I even learned how to do side boob bind thanks to Rin and Nitori. I plan to show a bit more skin as Haru soon once I get rid of those stretchmarks. XD


After that, I hung out with RaiinFaiiry and HopefulSnowflake cause we weren't planning on leaving til Monday. We chilled out and took pictures. Then the next day, it was time to say good-bye. It was a great weekend and we got a lot pictures. 

Now onto new plans for the future. My next con will be AWA. It will be my first time going so I hope our( ZephyrDragons25, Monkeygirl-16, and Treekitty ) experience will be an awesome one. 

My next couple of cosplays is to get Kazuma from Noragami and Black from Book of Circus done for AWA. I got this~ I already have about half of both cosplays. I just need a few extra things for each. Our photographer for our Noragami shoot is extremely excited to see our group so we'll make sure to surprise her.
