Where to start, so much to tell. Well, I guess I can copy and paste my Katsu from FB account that way I don't have to repeat myself.
Alright, now that I've recovered from sleep and food, I can finally start writing how awesome my Katsucon went. Honestly, it was one of the best in my opinion. Sure, things were a little off schedule but in the end, it was a pretty good con for me. No drama and I got to see a whole lot of people.
Thursday me, reikoheartsu, Reiko's boyfriend, Josh, and Hillary(plus her little munchkin) all left for Katsucon at around 7:30am. We got stopped by the bank, got some coffee and breakfast, then off we went. It was a smooth drive with no traffic. Ahhh, the benefits of leaving early. We even had some snow on our way up there, which was awesome. After we made it to the Gaylord, we took some photos by the empty gazebo. Yes, gazebo sempai has noticed us well. XD I had to wait til my roomies got here before we could check in. While I was waiting, I FINALLY got to meet my twinny untitledxme along with LiliBunny13, Marlo, Cameron, and PockyTheif. Ahhhh it was so good to meet all of you~ I hope your guys' first Katsu was one of the best. Later on, my roomies arrived with good timing. I got to room with the best people ever. Thank you so much SoraKazuma, Summoner-Hirelena, Jiro, and ShinobiEji for letting me stay with you guys~ Once we checked in, we automatically went right into Valentine's Day Dramatical Murder. We practically had a full group. Aoba, Clear, Noiz, Ren, Mink, and Virus. We met up with Adam and Danni which is also their first time going to Katsu. I hope your guys' Katsu was a special one. Congrats to your engagement you two~ Afterwards, we met up with Lostdreamz82, XxCStrifexX, wingedlight, StrataTemari, Ace5262, Maureen, thefanspov, ChibiToon, and many many others. I even had a shot of the jolly rancher drink. I def needed that. After we ate, we had a DMMD Valentine's shoot. I cannot wait to see all the photos. We all had such a grand time.
Friday it was time for Kamigami no Asobi. Next to DMMD Valentine's it had to be the highlight of Katsucon. Thank you Druhzin for being amazing. The photos so far look absolutely beautiful. We had quite a few photos taken of us AND we were featured in cmv. Thank you so much Finalflick Cosplay. It was a pleasure meeting Olivia as our adorable Anubis and Pisaracosplay was well worth the wait cause I so wanted to see her Thor in person. And ahhh, KakuCosplay, so glad we got a chance to see you again. It's been since the last Sakura Matsuri since we saw each other. After Kamigami, I changed into Gilbert with my Vincent and Echo. I'm so glad a lot of people still knew what Pandora Hearts is. Lots of people wanted our picture. Props to Summoner-Hirelena for wearing that outfit in the cold. You were such a trooper. We weren't in PH for long so we changed into Psycho Pass to meet with our photographer. While the photographer was setting up, I went to go find XxCStrifexX and Rika so they can join in on our Psycho Pass shenanigans. And omg, dem pictures turned out beautifully~ I cannot wait to see them. If you guys want his page it's Sean Camanyag Photography. After Psycho Pass, I changed into Tutor Sebastian with SunshineAlways, her fiancee, and Plu Plu. Even though we didn't get a shoot done, I had such a fun time with you guys regardless. Your Robin Ciel was so pretty in person~ There's always next con too~
Saturday I changed into Izaya to meet with my Durarara!! crew. Haha, messing with Dee as Shizu-chan was quite fun. And seeing Danni's Celty in person was such a treat. We even met up with A/C Photography to do that pregnancy test meme thing. After Durarara, I FINALLY decided to hit up the Dealer's Room. Meanwhile, TakutoXXX was killing me with Valentine's Day Rin pics. OMFG!!! WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME~ XD Along the way, I met up with Treekitty. A big congrats on your engagement as well. I'm so happy for you two~ I got so much merchandise, well mostly sport animu trash stuff. I also got to see Koralene(You're Erza and Usui are even better in person. So glad we got to take a few selfies together) and Kanamehhh(So glad we finally got to see each other). XD After my dealers room hunting, I rested a bit with in the hotel room. After a few hours, I changed into default Aoba and met up with Dee as Mink and Marcia as Koujaku. Then we hit up the maid cafe with StrataTemari and Maureen. The food was delicious. I got a bento box, miso soup, and cherry cake. I even wrote a wish down and put it up on the sakura tree. As cheesy as it sounds, I seriously hope it comes true. After the maid cafe, we met up with Tristiahna to get some pics taken of us for experiment reasons. She wanted to test her photography skills. I believe those photos are going to turn out awesome. We had so many photos taken of us. Heck, we even had a Rhyme Ren join us for some photos. What a night, I tell ya. Even though Makai Ouji didn't happen, I still would like to congratulate Lostdreamz82 and her awesome Tsubasa group for getting an Honorable Mention award. You go girl!! So proud!! We can always do Makai Ouji some other time. I was mostly resting in ZephyrDragons25 and Monkeygirl-16's room watching Toonami.
Sunday was the last day for me and my roomies. It's a good thing we left when we did cause were going to have 3-5 inches of snow on Monday. Before I left, I walked around in the artist alley once last time. Along the way, I saw nikitachikita005 and Danni. Yayz!!! I'm glad I could finally see you guys. You two were so adorable as Kage and Hinata. I also bumped into Mally, RaiinFaiiry, Mac(I finally got to meet you too) and yenra(thanks for showing me some amazing things on my new phone). Then later on, I hung out with ZephyrDragons25 and Monkeygirl-16 one last time. They were hanging with the almighty Shikarius Cosplays and her Haikyuu group. Madison, I enjoyed looking at your Yowapedal dojins. You and your Haikyuu were loads of fun to hang out with for a bit. Afterwards, I left for home. Again, the drive there was smooth with no traffic. I said my good byes to Shannon and reikoheartsu then drove home.
Sorry for the long post but what a Katsucon. What an adventure. I also met up with so many other peeps along the way. Even if it was just a brief hello, I'm still glad I got to see you~ If we didn't see each other, fear not, there's always next con. I hope everyone's Katsu was just as enjoyable as mine.

Now onto ROFCON things.
I am still staffing for this convention but I've been moved to AMS instead. Thank god I did cause last year was nothing but drama in the programming department. My shifts will be 8pm-2am I think every night. I never been on AMS before so we'll see how it goes. The reason why I picked a later shift cause A) If I work ROFCON weekend, it won't coincide with my staff duties and B) It gives me time to hang with my friends, have a few photoshoots and whatnot. Most of the weekend I'll be hanging with
Jade-the-inujin,
DigiDrawer, and
Cho-Miyabe like I did last year. We had such a fun time. Now onto year 2 of ROFCON shenanigans. XD
Cosplay wise, I think so far I'm bringing like three. They're cosplays I've had for awhile but I really wanna bring them back. Easy on the funds too.
